This is our beautiful first born, Kayla. It may be hard to tell from this picture but her and her husband are expecting their first child; our first grandbaby. Needless to say we are all extremely excited.
While sitting at church watching her sing I couldn’t help but feel a tad emotional. For a moment all I could see was our feisty curly-haired blonde little girl.
As parents we all have dreams of what will our children’s future entail. For some it’s to be doctors, lawyers, or even professional sports players. Want to know what I dreamed for my children?
It’s what you may or may not see in this picture. For my children to develop their own relationship with God, to worship with all their might, to love people with all their heart, help where help is needed, basically doing what God has called them to do.
Here we are in the moment and my baby girl is having her own baby. It’s quite amazing to see this all unfold. Feeling truly blessed and had to share.
