This picture among many is from our most memorable trip to Hawaii. Have you ever seen anything like this? If you have been to the island of Maui and did the trip “Road to Hana” then you have seen these trees. Just look at the bark, isn’t it exquisite? It was definitely a must stop and take a picture time.
As I have mentioned in the blog post ‘My Superman’ we had gone to Hawaii in 2016. We did a cruise along with Danny’s brother and wife to celebrate milestone anniversaries; their 20th, our 25th. The first port we arrived at was Kahului, Maui. As mentioned above we did the trip “Road to Hana”, who knew a road could be so winding and crazy?! Not going to lie there were some scary moments on that drive. Regardless of those scary moments, the sights that we were able to see were well worth it.
Along the drive in the jeep my sister-in-love and I just happened to catch a glimpse of these group of trees that looked like they were painted. Naturally when one sees something like that you have to stop to investigate it further, right? You wondering what kind of trees they are? The kind of tree is Rainbow Eucalyptus or Painted Bark Eucalyptus. To us it did not matter, it went on my list of the neatest sights we saw on our trip.
