Have you ever been to California? This past May I had the honor of being invited to Elk Grove, California to present a workshop. That was the very first time I had ever been in California; well outside of the airport (Los Angles on a layover).
California was not on my “adventure list” until that visit. After the weekend of working our sweet hosts took us (my husband and I) on a little bit of a fun adventure. We drove about a hour away to the shore then made our way back to Elk Grove through San Francisco.
Obviously this picture is of the Golden Gate Bridge and needless to say we were in awe from afar and actually standing on it. Quite amazing structure the bridge is when one stops and thinks about it. Go ahead and pause to do that.
Little did I expect to have all sorts of feels as I did. One day was not enough so as you can guess California is now on my “adventure list”. Looking forward to exploring more of the beautiful state.
